# Adding Tools to a Budget

Your agent can only use tools that are in its budget. Here's how to add them.

---

## Add a Single Tool

1. **Find the tool**
Browse the [marketplace](/marketplace) or search for a specific tool.

2. **Click the + button**
On the tool's card or detail page, click the **Add to Budget** button.

3. **Select a budget**
Choose which budget to add the tool to. If the tool requires credentials, you'll be prompted to set them up.

---

## Add an Entire Vendor

Instead of adding tools one by one, you can add a **vendor** to your budget. This gives your agent access to all of that vendor's tools.

From the **AI Budgets** tab in your dashboard:
1. Open your budget
2. Click **Add Vendor**
3. Select the vendor

> Adding a vendor gives access to all their current and future tools. If you want more control, add individual tools instead.

---

## Add a Workflow

Workflows are added the same way as tools:

1. Find a workflow in the marketplace
2. Click **Add to Budget**
3. Select the budget

The workflow's required tools are shown on its detail page. Make sure those tools are also in your budget, or the workflow won't be able to execute all its steps.

---

## Bulk Add

From the **AI Budgets** tab, you can bulk-add multiple tools at once:

1. Open your budget settings
2. Click **Bulk Add**
3. Select the tools you want
4. Confirm

---

## Removing Tools

From your budget settings, you can remove individual tools, vendors, or workflows at any time. Removing a tool immediately prevents your agent from using it.
