Adding Stablecoin to Your Wallet
If you're using an x402 wallet for on-chain payments, you need to fund it with USDC stablecoin. Here's how.
Prerequisites#
Before adding funds, make sure you have:
- An AgentPMT account with a wallet created (see What is an x402 Wallet)
- A source of USDC on the Base network, or a credit card for the crypto onramp
Funding Methods#
Buy USDC with a Credit Card#
The built-in crypto onramp lets you purchase USDC directly into your wallet using a credit card. No existing crypto needed.
Open your wallet
Click Fund Wallet
Click the Fund Wallet button to open the onramp widget.
Enter amount
Choose how much USDC you want to purchase. The widget shows the conversion rate and any fees.
Complete payment
Enter your credit card details and confirm. USDC is deposited into your wallet within minutes.

The crypto onramp is powered by Stripe and supports all major credit and debit cards. Processing typically takes 1-5 minutes.

AgentPMT exclusively uses USDC on the Base network for on-chain payments.
Checking Your Balance#
Your wallet balance is displayed in the Wallet tab on your dashboard. It shows:
- Current USDC balance
- Recent deposits and withdrawals
- Transaction history with links to the block explorer
Testnet Funds#
If you're testing on Base Sepolia (testnet), you can get free test USDC from faucets. This lets you try out wallet features without spending real money.
